The Atlanta Dream and Atlanta United announced on March 12 a new retail collaboration called “United We Dream,” marking the first partnership of its kind between a Major League Soccer team and a Women’s National Basketball Association franchise. The collection, which launches on March 12, features three exclusive apparel pieces in celebration of Women’s History Month.

This initiative highlights both organizations’ commitment to unity, empowerment, and community impact. The collection aims to celebrate women in sports while encouraging fans to engage with the growth of women’s athletics in Atlanta. According to the official website, the Atlanta Dream maintains its role as a key team in the WNBA and serves the Southeast region through basketball education, leadership development, and community initiatives such as backpack drives for students.

The “United We Dream” capsule includes a premium fleece hoodie, a lightweight mesh short-sleeve top inspired by performance culture, and a classic graphic tee. Each item incorporates co-branded details that reflect both teams’ identities. The apparel was produced in partnership with Round21, aiming to blend sport, art, and culture into each piece.

Atlanta Dream President and Chief Operating Officer Morgan Shaw Parker said, “Atlanta is a city that shows up for women’s sports and shows out for its teams. This collaboration with Atlanta United and Round21 is about more than apparel — it’s about visibility, alignment and continuing to push the game forward together. ‘United We Dream’ represents what’s possible when organizations come together with shared values and a shared commitment to equity.”

Skate Noftsinger, Senior Vice President and Chief Business Officer at Atlanta United said, “We’re proud to partner with the Atlanta Dream and Round 21 to create this first-of-its-kind crossover collection. While Women’s History Month is an important moment to celebrate the impact of women, our commitment to creating opportunity and visibility extends far beyond a single month. United We Dream represents that year-round commitment — and we invite Atlantans and sports fans everywhere to join us in it.”

Ownership of the Atlanta Dream includes partners such as Larry Gottesdiener, Suzanne Abair, and Renee Montgomery according to the official website. The team continues its focus on empowering girls through basketball education programs while supporting broader educational efforts in its community.

The broader significance of this collaboration lies in promoting diversity within professional sports organizations while offering fans new ways to support women athletes throughout the year.
