The Atlanta Dream announced on March 16 that Andrea Bailey has been appointed as the organization’s Chief Revenue Officer, bringing over twenty years of experience in professional sports, partnerships, and commercial strategy.
Bailey will be responsible for overseeing the team’s revenue operations, including corporate partnerships, ticket sales, premium experiences, and commercial strategy. The move comes as the franchise seeks to expand its business operations and benefit from the increasing interest in women’s sports.
Morgan Shaw Parker, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Atlanta Dream, said, “Andrea is a proven revenue leader with an exceptional track record of building high-performing commercial teams and driving meaningful business growth. She brings the strategic discipline, deal-making ability, and leadership presence needed to accelerate our commercial momentum. Just as importantly, Andrea understands the unique opportunity in front of us, to build a best-in-class commercial team while continuing to elevate the business of women’s sports.”
Bailey previously served as Chief Revenue Officer at Aquimo and held executive roles with the Portland Trail Blazers and AEG Global Partnerships. Throughout her career she has managed large-scale portfolios and delivered major partnerships with brands such as Toyota, Delta Air Lines, Adidas, and Pernod Ricard. In her new role with the Dream, Bailey said she is looking forward to contributing to both organizational growth and broader advancements in women’s sports: “I’m incredibly excited to join the Atlanta Dream at such an important moment for the organization and for women’s sports. The momentum around the league and the Dream’s vision for the future present an extraordinary opportunity to build a best-in-class commercial organization while creating meaningful partnerships that support the continued growth of the game.”
The Atlanta Dream maintains its position as a key team in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), according to the official website.
