After a series of roster changes on Saturday, the Atlanta Falcons announced their inactives for Week 12 ahead of their game against the New Orleans Saints. Both starting offensive guards, Chris Lindstrom and Matthew Bergeron, who had been listed as questionable due to foot and ankle injuries respectively, were not among the inactives. This indicates that both are expected to return to the starting lineup.

The Falcons made several moves before the game. Defensive back Billy Bowman Jr. (achilles) and defensive lineman Zach Harrison (knee) were placed on injured reserve. Inside linebacker Divine Deablo was activated and cornerback Cobee Bryant was signed to the 53-man roster. Safety Jammie Robinson and wide receiver Dylan Drummond were elevated from the practice squad for this matchup. Linebacker Malik Verdon was ruled out, while Deablo’s questionable status was removed.

Wide receiver Drake London, who suffered a PCL strain last week against the Carolina Panthers, had already been ruled out. Another receiver, Casey Washington, was also listed as inactive despite not appearing on any injury reports during the week, suggesting he is a healthy scratch.

Veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins will start for Atlanta with Easton Stick serving as backup.

Additionally, Michael Penix Jr., who partially tore his left ACL last week, is expected to undergo surgery in Los Angeles this week. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported: “If the nine-month period holds up, Penix could be ready for the start of the 2026 season,” but added that there are no certainties for players with previous ACL injuries.

The full list of Falcons’ inactives for Week 12 includes:
– WR Drake London
– RB Nathan Carter
– ILB Josh Woods
– OL Michael Jerrell
– WR Casey Washington
– DL Elijah Garcia
– DL Khalid Kareem
