After a strong start to the 2025 NFL season, Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Month, marking the first time he has received this honor in his career.

Robinson leads all players with 584 scrimmage yards over the first four weeks and has scored two touchdowns. He surpassed 100 receiving yards in two games and had over 100 rushing yards in another. Robinson has forced 24 missed tackles so far this season.

Falcons head coach Raheem Morris commented on Robinson’s performance: “He’s definitely the best player in football in my head. I don’t care, he’s unbelievable. I love the kid. I love everything about him. I love watching him with the ball. I love his confidence. I love his demeanor. I love his mindset. I love the leadership. I love everything about him.”

In Week 4 against the Washington Commanders, Robinson led all players with 181 yards and played a key role in Atlanta’s offense during their 34-27 win. He recorded a 69-yard catch in the third quarter, with 67 of those yards coming after the catch. This was his second reception of at least 50 yards this season; he also caught a 50-yard touchdown pass in Week 1.

A highlight for Robinson came during a 14-yard touchdown run in the second quarter of that game, where he demonstrated agility and awareness as he navigated through defenders before reaching the end zone.

Since joining the league in 2023, Robinson is the only running back to have multiple games with at least 100 receiving yards—achieving this three times—and currently ranks second among running backs in receiving yards this year, behind Christian McCaffrey. He worked during the offseason to increase explosive plays and now leads all running backs with five plays of at least 20 yards and is alone among players at his position with more than one gain of over 50 yards.

Through four games, Robinson is projected to finish the season with approximately 2,482 scrimmage yards, which would be the second-highest total for a single season in NFL history. Following a notable campaign in 2024, he continues to build recognition as one of the league’s top players.
