Chairwoman Anderson-Henry issued a Memorial Day message on May 22, pausing to honor the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation. She said, “On this Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Their courage and selflessness will never be forgotten. As we remember their legacy, let us recommit to building a stronger, more united, and more compassionate community together.”
Memorial Day serves as an opportunity for communities across the country to reflect on those who lost their lives in service and consider how their actions shape local values.
