Clayton County administrative offices to close for Thanksgiving holiday

All Clayton County administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, 2025, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The county announced the closure in advance of the holiday period.

“Have a Happy Thanksgiving!” the county stated.

Recent data from the Georgia Department of Education shows that enrollment at Clayton County schools declined by 2.5% during the 2022-23 school year compared to the previous year (https://www.gadoe.org/). The total number of students enrolled was 61,644 for that academic year (https://www.gadoe.org/). Additionally, white students represented only 2% of the student population in Clayton County schools during this period (https://www.gadoe.org/).
