Clayton County announces Winter Wonderland Carnival set for December

Clayton County Parks and Recreation is organizing a three-day holiday event called the Winter Wonderland Carnival. The celebration will take place from December 18 to 20, 2025, running daily from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The venue for the carnival is the Spivey Splash parking lot at 2300 Walt Stephens Rd., Jonesboro, GA 30236.

The event is open to the public with free admission. Attendees who want unlimited access to rides can purchase wristbands for $25. For more information about the carnival, individuals are encouraged to contact kierra.cordell@claytoncountyga.gov.

Recent data shows that Clayton County schools saw a decrease in enrollment by 2.5% during the 2022-23 school year compared to the previous year (https://www.gadoe.org/). In total, there were 61,644 students enrolled in county schools for that academic year (https://www.gadoe.org/). Among these students, white students represented just 2% of the student population during this period (https://www.gadoe.org/).
