Clayton County Board of Commissioners schedules retreat and special meeting for January

The Clayton County Board of Commissioners has announced it will hold its 2026 retreat and a special called meeting on January 23, 2026. The events are scheduled to take place at the Lake City Community Center, located at 5471 Jonesboro Rd., Lake City, Georgia.

The retreat is set to begin at 9 a.m. and will be followed by a special called meeting at 12:15 p.m. During this meeting, commissioners plan to approve a resolution that establishes and publishes the qualifying fees for the upcoming May General Primary, which is scheduled for May 19, 2026.
