Clayton County library event to feature law enforcement and community leaders

Library Services Director Scott Parham will host the next session of Coffee with a Librarian on February 9, 2026. The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Headquarters Library located at 865 Battle Creek Road in Jonesboro, Georgia.

The discussion will feature Police Chief Kevin Roberts, District Attorney Tasha Mosley, and Danielle Hillman, CEO, Founder, and Master Coach of Helping Heal the Hurt.

According to data from the Georgia Department of Education, Clayton County schools saw a 2.5% decrease in enrollment during the 2022-23 school year compared to the previous year. The total student enrollment for that period was 61,644 students (https://www.gadoe.org/).

Black students made up the largest portion of the student body at 68%, while Hispanic students were the second most represented group at 24%. Multiracial students accounted for 3%, and White students were the least represented at 2% (https://www.gadoe.org/).
