This month, the community is encouraged to reflect on the significant impact African Americans have had in shaping society. The message highlights achievements across civil rights, art, science, and politics.

During the 2022-23 school year, Clayton County schools experienced a 2.5% decrease in enrollment compared to the previous year, according to data from the Georgia Department of Education (https://www.gadoe.org/). Total student enrollment for that period was 61,644 (https://www.gadoe.org/). White students represented only 2% of the student body during this time (https://www.gadoe.org/).
