Parks and Recreation will hold a Holiday Pop-Up event on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the South Clayton Recreation Center. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 1837 McDonough Rd., Hampton, Georgia.
The program is open to families and includes beginner-friendly line dance and yoga exercises. Those interested in more information can contact Cortney Bright at 770.347.0200.

The county has seen changes in its school system in recent years. Enrollment at Clayton County schools declined by 2.5% during the 2022-23 academic year compared to the previous year, according to data from the Georgia Department of Education (https://www.gadoe.org/). In total, there were 61,644 students enrolled in Clayton County schools for that period (https://www.gadoe.org/). White students represented about 2% of the student population during the same school year (https://www.gadoe.org/).
