Clayton County Parks and Recreation announced on May 26 that registration for Mobile Golf Simulator classes will open June 15. The program, led by Pixel Partee LLC instructor James Hall, will take place at the South Clayton Recreation Center in Hampton from June 29 to August 1.

Classes are scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays, with two sessions available: ages 5–14 from 6 PM to 7 PM, and ages 15 and up from 7 PM to 8 PM. The experience includes structured league play, themed golf events, and professional lessons using a high-quality golf simulator. Fees are set at $55 for residents and $80 for non-residents.

For more information about the program or registration process, interested participants can contact Isaiah Cherfils at the provided phone number.

Enrollment at Clayton County schools dropped by 2.5% in the 2022-23 school year compared to the previous year; during that period, Clayton County schools enrolled a total of 61,644 students. Black students were the most represented ethnic group within Clayton County schools (68%), followed by Hispanic students (24%) and multiracial students (3%). White students made up just 2% of the county’s student body in the same year, according to the Georgia Department of Education.

The Parks and Recreation department encourages both beginners and experienced golfers to participate in this new offering.
