All Clayton County Parks and Recreation Centers will close temporarily on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. due to the annual all-staff meeting. The centers will reopen at 3 p.m.

This closure is part of regular operations for the county’s recreation department and aims to facilitate staff coordination.

The total student enrollment for that period was reported as 61,644 students (https://www.gadoe.org/). Demographic data also indicates that white students accounted for just 2% of the overall student population in Clayton County schools during the same year (https://www.gadoe.org/).
