Clayton County is seeking public input for its Comprehensive Transportation Plan. The county is collecting feedback from residents to help determine the plan’s goals, select projects, and develop a funding strategy. According to officials, community participation will influence decisions about future transportation investments in Clayton County.

“Feedback collected will be used to help shape the final Comprehensive Transportation Plan, including the plan goals, projects, and funding strategy. Your voice matters, don’t miss this chance to help shape the future of transportation in Clayton County by sharing your priorities for future transportation investments!”

Residents are encouraged to visit the project website and complete an online survey to share their opinions.

In related demographic trends, enrollment at Clayton County schools dropped by 2.5% during the 2022-23 school year compared to the previous year. For that same period, there were 61,644 students enrolled in Clayton County schools (https://www.gadoe.org/).
