Clayton County to hold workshop on small business insurance and bonding

Clayton County Central Services will host a virtual workshop focused on small business insurance and bonding. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Organizers say the session will provide information about obtaining bonds, different types of surety bonds, and the insurance requirements for county contracts.

According to Clayton County Central Services, “This virtual workshop will highlight the process of obtaining a bond, types of surety bonds, and types of insurance required on county contracts.”

Those interested in attending are required to register in advance.

In other recent developments in Clayton County schools, enrollment declined by 2.5% during the 2022-23 school year compared to the previous year (https://www.gadoe.org/). The total student enrollment was reported at 61,644 students for that period (https://www.gadoe.org/). Additionally, white students comprised just 2% of the student body during the same school year (https://www.gadoe.org/).
