The Clayton County Office of Grants Administration announced on May 28 that it will host a free, eight-hour Homebuyer Education Workshop in collaboration with Metro Fair Housing Services, Inc. The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1671 Adamson Parkway in Morrow.
Clayton County Chairwoman Dr. Alieka Anderson-Henry will be the guest speaker at the workshop. The program is being offered as part of National Homeownership Month and aims to provide prospective homebuyers with information and resources related to purchasing a home.
Eligible Clayton County employees may receive up to $10,000 in down payment assistance if they participate in the workshop. Lunch will be provided for attendees. Pre-registration is required and can be completed by scanning the QR code on the event flyer or by contacting Antoryeal Nunley via email or phone.
The county encourages interested participants to register early due to limited space at the event.
