The Atlanta Falcons released their injury report on Wednesday, listing 11 players who did not participate in practice as the team prepares to face the Carolina Panthers at Mercedes-Benz Stadium this Sunday.

Among those absent was wide receiver Drake London, the team’s leading receiver, who missed practice due to illness. Offensive linemen Chris Lindstrom (foot) and Matthew Bergeron (ankle) were also sidelined. Head coach Raheem Morris said before practice that Lindstrom’s absence was mainly precautionary and described Bergeron as “day-to-day” after he missed last Sunday’s game in Germany with his injury.

On defense, four members of the front line did not take part in practice: edge rusher Leonard Floyd (hamstring), Brandon Dorlus (oblique), Zach Harrison (knee), and Sam Roberts (knee/ankle). Floyd had already missed last week’s game due to his hamstring issue.

Special teams saw long snapper Liam McCullough miss practice for personal reasons. Morris confirmed that McCullough’s absence was because he and his wife welcomed their first child.

In other updates, cornerback Mike Hughes showed improvement after missing the Germany game with a neck injury. Dee Alford, who replaced Hughes but left early with a concussion, was also limited in practice on Wednesday. Both remain under observation as they recover.

Offensive tackle Storm Norton will revert to injured reserve after failing to return within his 21-day window following a foot injury. His season is now over. Linebacker DeAngelo Malone suffered a significant ankle injury last Sunday; Morris indicated Malone would be placed on injured reserve soon.

Full participation at Wednesday’s session included defensive lineman LaCale London (shoulder). Limited participants were cornerbacks Dee Alford (concussion) and Mike Hughes (neck), inside linebacker Malik Verdon (shoulder), and tackle Jake Matthews, who was resting for non-injury reasons.

The Falcons’ complete weekly reports can be found alongside those of the Panthers through official team channels.

“I consider Bergeron day-to-day,” head coach Raheem Morris said regarding Matthew Bergeron’s status. On Chris Lindstrom’s situation, Morris explained that holding him back from practice was “more out of precaution.”
