On Sunday, April 6, former Riverdale High School standout Elijah Banks’ current college team, the Benedict Tigers, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Clark Atlanta Panthers.
The game took place at Carver High School. This was their third matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 2 p.m. at Washington Field against Tuskegee Golden Tigers.
The Atlanta Falcons have added four players following their rookie minicamp: Brandon Walton, Layden Robinson, Ross Blacklock, and Daveren Rayner. The move follows a weekend of tryouts involving both veterans and rookies competing for roster spots.
