The Atlanta Falcons have placed defensive lineman Sam Roberts on injured reserve and added Kentavius Street to the active roster. The announcement was made ahead of the team’s Week 11 game against the Carolina Panthers, which will take place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Roberts sustained an ankle injury during the first quarter of last week’s loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Berlin. He played only four snaps before leaving the game after assisting on a tackle. Roberts joined the Falcons on September 6 and participated in five games, including a start in Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins. Over his appearances, he recorded 18 tackles and one sack.
Kentavius Street was signed from the practice squad, where he had been since the beginning of this season. Although he has not yet played in 2025, Street previously appeared in 18 games for Atlanta across 2023 and 2024, starting five times. His contributions included 29 tackles, two sacks, a pass breakup, and a fumble recovery.
The upcoming matchup between the Falcons and Panthers is set for Sunday at 1 p.m. ET at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
