The Atlanta Falcons are set to begin their 2025 training camp on Thursday, offering a first look at a team with potential and some uncertainties. The offense features young talent and a strong offensive line, while the defense has seen offseason additions aimed at improvement.

Several players stand to benefit from a strong start in camp. Michael Penix Jr., entering his first training camp as an NFL starting quarterback, is surrounded by talent and could gain confidence with a good preseason performance. Ryan Neuzil, taking over in front of Penix, has experience from last season and will be crucial in handling protection assignments.

On the defensive side, Brandon Dorlus is expected to clarify his role after Grady Jarrett’s departure. Jalon Walker, another key player, may showcase versatility if he quickly adapts to his responsibilities as an edge rusher.

Raheem Morris emphasized consistency in the kicking game following Younghoe Koo’s challenging 2024 season. With competition from newly signed German kicker Lenny Krieg, Koo must prove himself during this camp.
