On Thursday, May 15, former McIntosh High School standout John Peters’ current collegiate team the Young Harris Mountain Lions lost 3-6 against the North Greenville Crusaders in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Newman Park at 7:10 p.m. and was the first matchup against the North Greenville Crusaders in the tournament.

The Young Harris Mountain Lions’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 3 p.m. at Newman Park.
