On Sunday, May 18, former Starr’s Mill High School standout Lilli Backes’ current collegiate team the Georgia Bulldogs won 5-2 against the Duke Blue Devils in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Duke Softball Stadium at 5:35 p.m. and was the third matchup against the Duke Blue Devils in the tournament.

The Georgia Bulldogs’ next game will take place on Friday, May 23 at 11 a.m. at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.
