Former McIntosh High School standout and current Young Harris Mountain Lions player, John Peters will compete in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.
They begin the tournament as a number four seed against the fifth seeded North Greenville Crusaders.
The first game is on Thursday, May 15 at 7:10 p.m.

The Atlanta Falcons have re-signed defensive tackle LaCale London following his contributions last season. London recorded five sacks and started five games for Atlanta in 2025. The team competes in the NFC South division and has reached two Super Bowls.
The Atlanta Falcons have signed defensive end Cameron Thomas as a free agent. Thomas reunites with head coach Kevin Stefanski after previously working together with the Cleveland Browns.
