On Wednesday, April 2, former Starr’s Mill High School standout Lilli Backes’ current college team, the Georgia Bulldogs, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Mercer Bears.

The game took place at Jack Turner Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 3 p.m. at Jack Turner Softball Stadium against Texas A&M Aggies.
