On Monday, April 14, former Fayette County High School standout Lindsey George’s current college team, the Bowie State Bulldogs, won 9-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Chestnut Hill Griffins.
The game took place at BSU Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Griffins this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 1 p.m. at LU Softball Complex against Lincoln Lions.
The Atlanta Falcons have signed veteran kicker Nick Folk after using multiple kickers last season. Folk brings extensive experience and a strong track record in field goal accuracy.
The Atlanta Falcons have re-signed defensive tackle LaCale London following his contributions last season. London recorded five sacks and started five games for Atlanta in 2025. The team competes in the NFC South division and has reached two Super Bowls.
The Atlanta Falcons have signed defensive end Cameron Thomas as a free agent. Thomas reunites with head coach Kevin Stefanski after previously working together with the Cleveland Browns.
