NYU Violets win NCAA Division III opener with Fayette County’s Megan Ohonde

On Friday, March 6, NYU Violets, featuring former Fayette County High School standout Megan Ohonde, secured a 108-44 victory over the UMaine Farmington Beavers in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

The contest began at 7:45 p.m. at John A. Paulson Center, marking the Violets’ first tournament face-off with the Beavers.

NYU is set to play its next game on Saturday, March 7 at 7:45 p.m., again at John A. Paulson Center.
