On Friday, May 16, former Whitewater High School standout Makayla Coffield’s current collegiate team the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets lost 4-5 against the Florida Atlantic Owls in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium at 2:05 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Florida Atlantic Owls in the tournament.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 2:55 p.m. at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.
