State Representative Sandra G. Scott is hosting a Christmas Bingo event tonight at the Carl Rhodenizer Recreation Center, located at 3499 Rex Rd, Rex, GA 30273. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Community members are invited to attend and are encouraged to RSVP by contacting sandra.scott@house.ga.gov.
Clayton County has seen changes in its school enrollment numbers recently. In the 2022-23 school year, there was a 2.5% decrease in student enrollment compared to the previous year, with a total of 61,644 students enrolled in Clayton County schools (https://www.gadoe.org/). Demographic data from that same year show that white students made up only 2% of the county’s student body (https://www.gadoe.org/).
