City Center Park’s Safe Use of Its Water Features

Tucson

City Center Park’s safe use of its water features

Friday, June 10, 2022 – The summer months are approaching, and temperatures are rising. The City Center Park is experiencing large numbers of guests using the park amenities. City leaders want to remind guests to stay safe and help keep the park functioning properly.

Improper trash disposal is the leading cause of the malfunction of the park’s equipment. Consequently, that equipment has had to be temporarily turned off to remove the trash disposed of inappropriately and repair the equipment.

Also, guests are reminded of the rock water feature (Flume) adjacent to Triumph Station’s dining amenities, which is not intended for guests to enter. Please do not allow children to play in the water for their safety.

Guests are asked to become familiar with the park rules, which are posted on signs in the park, and abide by them.

The City wants all guests to enjoy the City Center Park and its services. Stay safe, Fayetteville!

Anyone who witnesses unsafe or destructive behavior at any City park is asked to dial 9-1-1.
