Spalding County and Spalding County Homeland Security will be providing comforts stations that will be used to assist with heat relief for residents in our community for the month of August. Fairmont Community Center and the City Park Community Center will be the comfort station locations. The stations will have open hours that correspond to the operating hours of that center. There will be periodic patrols of fire engines to come by the centers to check on those that may be seeking heat relief, along with law enforcement.
