Victim Dies from Injuries Sustained During False Imprisonment Incident
WHEN: July 5, 2022 at 3:52 a.m.
WHERE: 5500 block of Riverdale Road, College Park, GA 30349 (Clayton County)

On Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 3:52 a.m., Clayton County Police Officers responded to a person shot call. Upon arrival, officers found one victim located in the bedroom with her hands and feet tied together with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers also located a second victim, who was eventually able to escape, run to a neighbor’s home, and call the police. The suspect was gone before police arrived on scene.
On Sunday, July 17, 2022, the first victim succumbed to her injuries. The Clayton County Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is now investigating a homicide in reference to this incident. The suspect is unknown at the time. The investigation is going.
