May be a cartoon of text that says '0 C AY T f I 3 1823 WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL SAFETY TIPS FOR AUGUST 4TH'

As we all know, August 4th is our first day of school for our students and teachers in Fayette County. Our City of Fayetteville Public Safety would like to know congratulate all those that are returning back to our schools.

We would like for everyone to stay safe and the following the safety tips:

1. Remain vigilant on students, parents and teachers crossing the roads.

2. Be on the lookout for school zone signals and ALWAYS obey the speed limits.

3. When entering a school zone, be sure to slow down and obey all traffic laws.

4. Always stop for school busses that are loading or unloading children.

5. Watch out for school crossing guards and obey their signals.

6. Follow your local school in-house rules at all times.

And remind your students/teachers to ALWAYS remember if they see something that doesn't look right say something RIGHT AWAY.
