Media Advisory - Mattie's Call Issued for Maria Amaya
On November 14, 2022, Clayton County Police Officers responded to the 700 block of Southside Commercial Parkway, Jonesboro, GA in reference to a missing person. During the investigation,officers learned Maria Amaya was last seen on November 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., when she checked out of the hotel. Maria Amaya has been diagnosed with a mental illness.
Maria Amaya is described as a fifty-eight-year-old Hispanic female, with grey/white hair, brown eyes, 5’01” in height, and weighs 150 lbs. Her last clothing description is unknown at this time.
