Media Advisory - S.W.A.T. Standoff

On November 20, 2022, at 4:04 p.m., Clayton County Police Officers were dispatched to the 11000 block of Tara Glynn Drive, Hampton, GA in reference to a welfare check.  The caller advised Jeremiah Rose (41-year-old-male) was experiencing a mental crisis. During the investigation, officers learned that Jeremiah Rose was upset regarding out-of-state warrants. Officers learned Jeremiah Rose had a warrant for Failure to Appear for Aggravated Assault with a Weapon (3 Counts) out of Louisiana. Officers were advised Jeremiah Rose has several guns and a long gun inside the residence. After several attempts, Jeremiah Rose refuse to come out of the residence. 

Please issue an emergency shelter-in-place public service announcement for this area as the suspect is now on foot and is considered to be armed and dangerous.
