Media Advisory - Fatal Shooting Near Pointe South Parkway
On December 2, 2022, at 2:40 p.m., Clayton County Police Officers responded to the 8500 block of Highway 85, Riverdale, GA in reference to a person shot call. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Corey Brooks (31-year-old male), deceased with multiple gunshot wounds.
Clayton County Police Department Detectives are actively investigating this incident. They are following all leads available to them. The victim’s family has asked for privacy while they process, grieve, and heal together.
