Media Advisory - Juvenile Killed During Teenage Party
On December 3, 2022, at 11:00 p.m., Clayton County Police Officers responded to the 1078 Citizens Parkway, Suite E, Morrow, GA in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located the juvenile near the entrance of the location deceased from a gunshot wound.
The investigation revealed a party was held at the location where students from all Metro Atlanta high schools were in attendance. An individual was removed from the party and returned with an accomplice and shot multiple rounds into the building killing a 15-year-old juvenile. Upon law enforcement arrival, hundreds of teenagers were seen fleeing the scene.
This investigation is in the preliminary stages and ongoing at this time. The juvenile’s name will not be released at this time.
