Media Advisory - Suspect in Custody After Deadly Shooting in 2021
On October 26, 2021, at 7:40 p.m., Clayton County Police Officers responded to the 5700th block of Highway 85, Riverdale, GA in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located one victim deceased, Donald Adams (30), in the front passenger seat of a vehicle with multiple gunshots. Officers also located a second victim in the rear passenger seat with multiple gunshot wounds but still responsive. The second victim was transported to a local hospital. Responding officers located multiple guns and drugs in the crime scene.
During the investigation, detectives identified one of the suspects as Daniel Allen was arrested on December 10, 2021. Daniel Allen was 17-years-old at the time of the incident. After a grand jury (true bill) indictment, Daniel Allen was arrested on the original and additional charges of Two Counts of Felony Murder, Two Counts of Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony, and Aggravated Assault on January 3, 2023.
