Media Advisory - Armed Robbery Suspect in Custody
On February 6, 2023, at approximately 11:56 p.m., Clayton County Police Officers responded to the 6300th block of Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA in reference to a dispute. During the investigation, officers learned that the dispute was in reference to an armed robbery that occurred earlier that date between the victim and the suspect, Luis Amadorherrera (31-year-old-male). Mr. Amadorherrera continued to provide a inconsistent statements as well as providing multiple false names to the officers.
Based on the extensive investigation, Luis Amadorherrera was taken into custody for Armed Robbery, Possession of a Weapon During Commission of a Crime, Violation of GA Controlled Substance Act, False Imprisonment, Battery, and False Name and Date of Birth.
Great job to the Sector 4 Morning Watch Officers for protecting and serving the citizens of Clayton County.
