Media Advisory - #9 Most Wanted Captured by the Clayton County Police Department 

Clayton County Police Officers have been dealing with multiple calls for service in reference to entering autos and stolen vehicles in the area of 5801 Riverdale Road, Riverdale, GA. The officers often find stolen vehicles dumped in that area as well. Clayton County Police Officer Sherwood makes it her mission to perform several proactive patrols in that area in an attempt to catch the criminals that are committing these types of crimes.  

On February 19, 2023, at 3:09 p.m., Clayton County Police Officer Sherwood was performing a general patrol in the 5800th block of Riverdale Road, Riverdale, GA when she came in contact with multiple males standing in the parking lot. Officer Sherwood immediately recognized two of subjects wanted out of the Clayton County and one of which is #9 on the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office most wanted list. One of which is a 16-year-old juvenile and the other was 21-year-old Quantavious Jamahd Greene. 

Officer Sherwood immediately radioed for backup. As she was attempting make contact, the subjects immediately fled the scene. Officers were not able to locate the 16-year-old juvenile. Mr. Greene's mother arrived on scene attempting to interfere with officer’s attempt in locating both subjects by leading them in a totally different direction. The Mr. Greene's mother is aware of the situation her son keeps finding himself in and continues to uphold her son’s actions. 

Because Officer Sherwood is familiar with the area and with the two subjects, the officers were able to make contact at the home. Officers found Mr. Greene hiding upstairs in his grandmother's room behind the door. Quantavious Jamahd Green had active warrants for Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Crime, and Violation of Probation. Mr. Greene was arrested without incident.
