Media Advisory - #Update: Victim Succumbs to Injuries After Shooting Occurs
The Clayton County Police Department is currently searching for Hashun Marcella Jordan, a 32-year-old black male. Hashun Marcella Jordan and the victim, Aisha Reed (34-year-old female), were involved in a verbal argument. During that argument, Hashun Marcella Jordan produced a gun and fired multiple shots at Aisha Reed. Aisha Reed was transported to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Hashun Marcella Jordan is wanted for Malice Murder and Possession of Weapon During the Commission of a Crime.

Media Advisory - On in Very Critical Condition After Shooting Occurs
On February 19, 2023, at 10:22 p.m., Clayton County Police Officers responded to the 8300th block of Kendrick Road, Jonesboro, GA in reference to a person shot call. Upon arrival, officers observed the victim inside the vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was rushed to the hospital. The victim is in very critical condition at this time.
The suspect fled the location prior to police arriving on scene. At this time, we can confirm that a verbal argument occurred which led to the shooting. The investigation is still in the preliminary stages. Clayton County Police Detectives are actively working this case.
