Media Advisory - Person of Interest for a Homicide Case

On November 25, 2022, at 6:53 p.m., Clayton County Police Officers responded to the 5000th block of Pahaska Court, Ellenwood, GA in reference to a person shot call. During the investigation, officers located the victim, Keelon Tate (23), inside the residence deceased from a gunshot wound. This is an ongoing investigation where Clayton County Police Detective are following-up on all leads. The investigation is still in the preliminary phase; therefore, details are limited at this time. 

Updated Information: 

On November 25, 2022, at 6:53 p.m., Clayton County Police Officers responded to the 5000th block of Pahaska Court, Ellenwood, GA in reference to a person shot call. As a result of the shooting, the victim (Keelon Tate) was shot and succumbed to his injuries. After an extensive investigation into this shooting, Clayton County Police Detectives are identifying Khalee Phipps as a person of interest in this case. 

Khalee Phipps is described as an eighteen-year-old black male, with black hair, brown eyes, 5’11” in height, and weighs 145 lbs.  Khalee Phipps may or may not be armed. Khalee Phipps is known hang in the Clayton County, GA area in addition to the Allenhurst, GA area.
