New Mexico State Police Officer Miguel Ramirez Has Worked Tirelessly to Suppress Intoxicated Drivers | Rawpixel

Zion were sitting in the parking lot of Waffle House, located at 965 W Lanier Ave. Within minutes of sitting in the parking lot, K9 Zion indicated that he detected drugs in the area of the patrol vehicle. D/S Warney exited his patrol vehicle, at which time he could smell the odor of marijuana. D/S Warney located a Chevrolet Tahoe in the parking emanating a strong odor of marijuana. As he approached the Tahoe, the driver opened the door and exited the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle admitted to recently smoking marijuana and that he was dealing with a pending distribution charge for marijuana. Upon searching the vehicle, 144 grams of marijuana was located, and the driver was arrested.
