Lovejoy High School had the highest enrollment among Clayton County schools, welcoming 2,065 students during the 2022-23 school year, according to the Georgia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 53% of them were male, and 47% were female.

Data also showed that most of the students were Black, representing 82% of the Lovejoy High School total enrollment.

Among the 67 schools in Clayton County, Morrow High School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 1,864 students, while Forest Park High School welcomed 1,695 students to be ranked third in the 2022-23 school year.

Lovejoy High School is part of Clayton County School District, which generally encompasses schools within Clayton County, with its main office in Hampton.

In the previous school year, Lovejoy High School also had the highest number of students among Clayton County schools.

As of 2024, Georgia has an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:15, which is better than the national average of 1:16. The state has its best student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1 in pre-kindergarten and middle school grades, while high school has an average ratio of 17:1.
