FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Falcons will commence the 2024 season against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
The Falcons' sideline has seen significant changes with a new head coach, new offensive and defensive coordinators, new assistants, and a new quarterback in Kirk Cousins.
Similarly, the Steelers have introduced several changes on the offensive side of the ball. They have added former Falcons head coach Arthur Smith as their new play-caller and acquired quarterback Russell Wilson, who brings 12 years of high-pressure experience in the league. Defensively, the Steelers have retained many components from a unit that ranked No. 6 in NFL scoring defense last season.
While Week 1 often feels unpredictable, experts are predominantly favoring the Falcons.
