The Atlanta Falcons continue their preparation for a Monday Night Football game against the Philadelphia Eagles. For the second consecutive day, Nate Landman was absent from on-field practice.
Landman is dealing with a quad injury sustained in the latter weeks of the preseason. He missed several practices leading up to Week 1 but ended last week as a full participant and played in Sunday's home opener, participating in 54% of the Falcons' defensive snaps.
Since the beginning of Week 2, Landman has not practiced with the team and is now listed on the injury report with both calf and quad injuries.
Offensive tackle Kaleb McGary was limited due to a groin injury for the second consecutive day. Joining McGary with limited practice were cornerback Antonio Hamilton Sr., also suffering from a groin injury, and running back Jase McClellan, who has a knee injury.
Hamilton participated in practice for the first time since sustaining his groin injury late last week. He was ruled out of last Sunday's game when the Falcons' game report was released last Friday. Like Landman, Hamilton did not participate in Thursday's practice.
