Rich McKay, the chief executive officer of the Atlanta Falcons and AMBSE, has progressed in the selection process for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025. He is nominated in the Contributor category. The Hall's Contributor Blue-Ribbon Committee recently narrowed down an initial list of 47 nominees to 25 individuals, including McKay.

The next phase will see this list further reduced to nine semifinalists, with announcements expected in about two weeks.

Among those vying for a spot in the Contributor category are several notable figures. K.S. "Bud" Adams is recognized for his extensive tenure as founder and CEO of the Titans/Oilers franchise. Roone Arledge is noted for his innovations in sports broadcasting. Chris Berman is acknowledged as a respected sportscaster, while Howard Cosell was part of ABC's original "Monday Night Football" team.

Other candidates include Otho Davis, John Facenda, Mike Giddings, Ralph Hay, Frank "Bucko" Kilroy, Don Klosterman, Eddie Kotal, Robert Kraft, Virginia McCaskey alongside Rich McKay himself.

Additional nominees are John McVay from the San Francisco 49ers organization; Art Modell known for owning both Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens; Lee Remmel who contributed significantly to Green Bay Packers' public relations; Eddie Robinson who coached at Grambling State; Art Rooney Jr., Jerry Seeman who had a long officiating career; Seymour Siwoff from Elias Sports Bureau; Amy Trask formerly with Oakland Raiders; Jim Tunney renowned NFL official; Doug Williams recognized as first Black quarterback winning Super Bowl MVP honors and finally John Wooten noted for his roles within various NFL teams' scouting departments.
