Head coach Raheem Morris of the Atlanta Falcons has characterized his team's recent performance against the Seattle Seahawks as "flat," a sentiment echoed by players despite their discontent with the description. The Falcons, after a string of three victories, faced a reality check with their loss to the Seahawks, who ended their own losing streak with this win.

In response, the team is focusing on a "reset" ahead of their upcoming game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins emphasized the importance of moving forward: "After a tough loss Sunday, it's always good to kind of hit the reset button."

Despite last Sunday's setback, which followed three wins against NFC South opponents, Atlanta remains optimistic about their position. With a 4-3 record and leading in divisional standings at 3-0, they maintain an edge over the Buccaneers due to tiebreaker rules.

Grady Jarrett, Falcons tackle, reinforced sticking to established processes without panicking: "It's about sticking to your process... But you don't reinvent the wheel."

The rematch against Tampa Bay presents an opportunity for Atlanta to solidify its lead. Their previous encounter in Week 5 resulted in an overtime victory for Atlanta. Should they win again, it would complicate any chance for Tampa Bay to surpass them without winning two additional games over the remainder of the season.

Kirk Cousins noted that facing strong opponents is part of professional football: "If you get hit in the mouth... you realize you got a great opponent now up ahead."

While concerns exist regarding potential ties involving other teams like New Orleans Saints (currently 2-5), Falcons safety Jessie Bates III remains focused on achieving playoff goals: "Just because you had one game doesn't mean you have a bad season ahead of you."

Atlanta aims to regain momentum and secure its position as division leaders when they meet Tampa Bay this Sunday.
