The Atlanta Falcons have announced several roster changes ahead of their upcoming game against the Denver Broncos. The match is set to take place on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET, with FOX broadcasting live from Empower Field at Mile High.
Center Drew Dalman has been activated from injured reserve. Dalman was sidelined due to an ankle injury sustained in Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs. He had been designated for return on October 30 but missed the subsequent games against the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints. Before his injury, Dalman participated in 76% of the Falcons' offensive plays, with Ryan Neuzil stepping in during his absence.
Lorenzo Carter, an outside linebacker, also returns from injured reserve after suffering a concussion on October 19. Carter missed all games except for Week 6's win over the Carolina Panthers before his injury. During those six games, he recorded 11 tackles and two quarterback hits while participating in half of the defensive snaps and nearly a quarter of special teams plays.
On the other hand, defensive lineman Ta'Quon Graham has been placed on injured reserve following a pectoral muscle injury sustained last week against the Saints. Graham has appeared in all ten games this season, recording 12 tackles and one quarterback hit. James Smith-Williams joins him on injured reserve after sustaining a tibia injury that worsened following Sunday's game.
Cornerback Natrone Brooks has been signed to the active roster after reaching his practice squad elevation limit. Brooks contributed significantly to special teams over three games and made his first career tackle against the Cowboys.
Additionally, offensive lineman Matt Hennessy rejoined the practice squad after being released from the main roster earlier this week. Wide receiver Jakeem Grant was released without having played this season.
Safety Dane Cruikshank and outside linebacker Khalid Kareem received standard practice squad elevations for this week's matchup. This marks their second elevation; Cruikshank previously played against Philadelphia Eagles, while Kareem took part in last Sunday's game.
