Despite losing key players like Grady Jarrett and Drew Dalman to the Chicago Bears, the team has made limited acquisitions, including signing edge rusher Leonard Floyd and inside linebacker Divine Deablo. They also re-signed KhaDarel Hodge and Mike Hughes.

As noted by Tori McElhaney from AtlantaFalcons.com, fans had higher expectations for off-season moves. "Did they do enough to feel fully confident in this defensive lineup? No," she stated. Concerns remain about whether the Falcons have strengthened their defense sufficiently.

David H., a fan from Marshalltown, Iowa, expressed doubts about whether the team has done enough before heading into the draft. "There are still issues in depth at multiple positions throughout the defense," McElhaney responded, indicating that more work is needed to address these gaps.

Barry W. from Rex, Georgia, shared his perspective on salary cap concerns: "I am OK with letting Grady Jarrett go... They have not even cleared enough space to start signing free agents." McElhaney countered this view by explaining that the team's cap situation is manageable: "The salary cap isn't really a problem in my eyes."

Cal P. from Griffin, Georgia asked which position between safety and cornerback needs more attention if pass rush is prioritized. McElhaney suggested both areas require equal focus: "They still have a vacancy at nickel which needs to be addressed."
