On Sunday, April 13, former Mundy’s Mill High School standout Jamarie Brooks’ current college team, the Kennesaw State Owls, won 17-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Sam Houston Bearkats.
The game took place at Don Sanders Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Bearkats this season.
The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 6 p.m. at S. Walter Kelly Sr. Memorial Field against West Georgia Wolves.
The Atlanta Falcons have signed veteran kicker Nick Folk after using multiple kickers last season. Folk brings extensive experience and a strong track record in field goal accuracy.
The Atlanta Falcons have re-signed defensive tackle LaCale London following his contributions last season. London recorded five sacks and started five games for Atlanta in 2025. The team competes in the NFC South division and has reached two Super Bowls.
The Atlanta Falcons have signed defensive end Cameron Thomas as a free agent. Thomas reunites with head coach Kevin Stefanski after previously working together with the Cleveland Browns.
